Registration and submission instructions

You have several participation options:

1. Register without submission -- you are just attending the Summit.
2. Register and submit an abstract -- you plan to present a poster or pitch (3min presentation + 2min for questions).
3. Register and submit an abstract and, later, an article (optional)

All registrations and abstracts must be submitted by the deadline of 8th April (extended!) to be considered. All registrations are free of charge. The Scientific Committee will select the abstracts for a poster or pitch. Accepted abstracts can submit an article (4 to 10 pages) by the 31st May. The article will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Abstracts and articles can (should) have several authors.

If you wish to attend the workshop, first login to your Sciencesconf account or create one for free. Then head to the "Registration" tab and fill in the requested personal and affiliation data.

If you intend to submit an abstract/article, you should additionally visit the "My submissions" tab. There you'll be able to fill in the title, abstract and type of submission (oral presentation or poster). You will also be able to add co-authors and affiliation information. You may additionally upload any documents you consider relevant. Conference proceedings will be published in a special edition of the U.Porto Journal of Engineering; if you wish to be included, you must upload your article as a Portable Document Format (PDF) file following the Journal's template (available in LaTeX, dotx, docx and rtf).

Once you submit your abstract/article, it will remain accessible on the submissions tab, where you can edit it if necessary. You may submit multiple abstracts and you can also submit abstracts for which you are not the main author.

Todas as inscrições e resumos devem ser enviados até o prazo final de 8 de abril (prazo extendido!) para serem considerados. Todos os registos são gratuitos. O Comitê Científico selecionará os resumos para póster ou pitch. Os resumos aceitos podem enviar um artigo (4 a 10 páginas) até 31 de maio. O artigo será avaliado por pares pelo Comitê Científico. Resumos e artigos podem (devem) ter vários autores.

Se desejar participar no workshop, primeiro inicie sessão na sua conta Sciencesconf ou crie uma gratuitamente. De seguida, aceda ao separador "Registration" e preencha os dados pessoais e de afiliação básicos solicitados.

Se pretender submeter um resumo (abstract) ou artigo, deve também visitar separador "My submissions". Lá poderá preencher o título, o resumo e o tipo de submissão (apresentação oral ou poster). Poderá também adicionar coautores e informações de afiliação. Pode também enviar quaisquer documentos que considere relevantes. Os proceedings da conferência serão publicados numa edição especial do U.Porto Journal of Engineering; se desejar ser incluído, deverá submeter o seu artigo como um ficheiro Portable Document Format (PDF) seguindo o modelo da revista (disponível em LaTeX, dotx, docx e rtf).

Depois de submeter o seu resumo/artigo, este permanecerá acessível no separador de envios, onde poderá editá-lo se necessário. Pode submeter vários resumos e também pode submeter resumos dos quais não é o autor principal.
